Enjoy a nautical night of sea shanties!
Metropolitan Men’s Choir will present “Sailors and Poets: a Concert of Sea Shanties and Madrigals” in St. John’s Fellowship Hall on Sunday, April 30, 2023, 4 p.m.
The Metropolitan Men’s Choir focuses on the pleasure of making music with good friends and creating the best music and choir experiences within them. Their repertoire includes a wide range of styles: folk tunes, hymns, jazz, madrigals, spirituals, chorales, and barbershop. They’ve performed in venues ranging from intimate chapels to the largest concert halls. St. John’s is their rehearsal home.
The Metropolitan Men’s Choir is a nonprofit choir directed by Tim Bauernfeind. The concert is free, donations are welcome.
